All industry professionals and those who have voted in previous years are automatically eligible to vote this year, but anyone who would like can register to vote by filling out this form by June 2nd. Batman: One Bad Day is nominated for Best Single Issue/One-Shot (for Batman: One Bad Day: The Riddler by Tom King and Mitch Gerads), Best Limited Series, and Best Writer (Tom King, whose nomination also accounts for Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, B atman: Killing Time, Gotham City: Year One, and The Human Target). Other bat titles honored this year are “Finding Batman” by Kevin Conroy from DC Pride 2022 for Best Short Story, and Gotham City: Year One for Tom King’s aforementioned Best Writer nomination. Nightwing‘s nominations this year include Best Continuing Series, Best Penciller/Inker or Penciller/Inker Team (Bruno Redondo), and Best Cover Artist (Bruno Redondo). This year, it’s tied with a number of others such as Batman: One Bad Day, The Nice House on the Lake, The Human Target, and Miracleman by Gaiman & Buckingham: The Silver Age, all managing three nominations a piece. Last year, Nightwing led all other titles with a whopping five nominations. Named in honor of legendary creator Will Eisner in 1988, they include awards for categories such as Best Short Story, Best Writer, and Best New Series. Every year the Eisner Awards celebrate outstanding achievement in comics.
